New video: Bonjay – Creepin

May 10th, 2011

Bonjay’s brand-new video for ‘Creepin’, out June 6 with ‘Stumble’, premiered at The Line Of Best Fit last week. The video sets ‘Creepin’ to snippets of Bill Mason’s 1972 documentary ‘Cry of the Wild’ - and is set in the arctic climes that lie north of Alanna and Pho’s Toronto home:

Youthless named band of the year by A New Band A Day!

December 29th, 2010

I’ve broken away from ever-increasing pile of biscuits that had threatened to topple me! Huzzah. For long enough to share the excellent news that the very brilliant A New Band A Day blog has named our boys Youthless their band of the year… oh, the honour.

Here’s a snippet of what Joe Sparrow had to say (full words here):

“Youthless make music for the mind and soul, programmed for the head and the feet, about love and happiness. Their songs are bright and immediate, with the lazy shine and sudden prickle of a needle. Above all, they’re honest and genuine – joy laid bare. A triumphant year in any sense.”

We’ve been busy preparing for OBR002 and far more, so keep your eyes peeled for the next release… and if you haven’t bought the limited-edition Youthless ‘Golden Age’ screenprint for OBR001 yet, you still can – from Puregroove.

Thanks for your support, you lovely bunch.
