One Bird Records is a brand-new label bringing back the notion that singles are for keeps. Our bands will grab you in the space of an A and B-side, and we’ll be working with them to release strings of singles instead of the conventional one-punch album format.

With each digital release comes a piece of specially commissioned art, inspired by the single. One Bird wants to bring a tangibility back to the ever-present digital download, and make the single precious once again – and we can’t think of a better way. We will be bringing you new bands, live shows and some amazing releases that we hope you love as much as we do.

Details of our first release are coming up soon, and we can’t wait. There’re no patterns, no pigeon-holing; we work with the bands we love, because we want to share that with you. Treat OBR as the label holding your hands through the wilderness, to the sparkling light at the end.
